As we come up to the holiday season, many people will be rushing out to buy presents for everyone AND THEIR DOG. Let me say, as someone who has and loves many dogs, it feels like a slight to buy presents for people's kids, and no one thinks about buying a single treat for my loved ones. So, I have come up with some inexpensive prezzies, as well as some that are meant for people to buy their own dogs that are more expensive.
Here are some excellent presents for other people's dogs.
1. Treats - make sure to check if someone's dog is allergic to anything, but a good Christmas cookie or a package of some delectable treats is always welcome. Your local boutique pet stores will have some cool options. Healthy biscuits made specifically for dogs. (click for link to buy)
2. Chews - again, you want to make sure they are an appropriate one for someone's dog and any dietary restrictions they may have are confirmed. Singles or packages are a good way to keep dogs occupied and happy throughout the gathering.
3. Toys - appropriate sizing and finding the toughest ones are sure to please. Most toys will not stand up to even moderate chewers, but we are going to put the toughest ones first so they stand a fighting chance.

If you have multiple dogs to buy for, small stockings at Dollar Stores and a package of treats can be stretched across multiple smaller packages. There are also some great recipes out there for homemade treats and making them close to the day so they don't go bad is an excellent way as well to keep costs down and give wholesome treats.
Buying or making gifts for the dogs in your life is such a lovely way to ensure that the dog parents on your list feel like their loved ones are included in the season.
